Première mention en France métropolitaine de Melikaiella tumifica (Osten Sacken, 1865), découverte en Alsace (Hymenoptera, Cynipidae)

Abstract

First records in France of Melikaiella tumifica, a North-American cynipid wasp species that induces galls on Quercus rubra. This provides an opportunity to present its life cycle, to improve the description of the galls of the asexual form, and to propose a preliminary overview of its distribution and phenology in Alsace.
